Marketing & administrator officer
Position: Marketing and administrative officer
Hours per week: Part time 25 hours
Salary: £22,000 – £25,000 (pro-rata)
Reporting to: Sangam Trustees
Purpose
– To provide communication support across traditional and online channels; and administrative support to Sangam Team and Trustees.
Duties
Administrative Support
– Deal with incoming emails, post and telephone calls for Sangam promptly and appropriately
– Be the first point of contact for visitors to the centre
Maintain security of IT records
– Provide punctual admin support to Sangam Team when required
– Hall Hire, Registry and other Services
– Help maintaining and updating the hiring diary
– Help follow up on enquiries and sell the value of Sangam’s venues
– Help organise meetings with regards to booking rooms, arranging refreshments, confirming speakers, circulating members
– Provide excellent customer service to all potential clients and users including communication, arranging for viewings, and other support tasks before, during or after bookings
Communications
– Help market Sangam by producing and circulating internal and external communications and publicity materials
– Plan, create, publish and share new content on the website and across social media platforms.
– Act as a webmaster for Sangam’s website and making all required
changes and updates
– Ensuring Sangam website is up to date with general information and ongoing news
– Create and maintain a strong social media presence for Sangam across platforms such as (but not only) Facebook and Instagram
– Ensure adherence to Sangam’s corporate branding
– Contribute to fundraising initiatives, offering administrative support as needed
Professional Development
– Participate in volunteer and staff support and training
– Work closely with all Sangam Team members and hold strong teamwork qualities to be part and promote the professional development of the entire team.
Policies and procedures
– Adhere to all organisational polices and procedures at all times
– Be willing to undertake enhanced DBS disclosure TBC
